Carlotta Luke has been photographing local food producers in East Sussex, hoping to encourage a better public understanding of the work that goes into hand-making high quality food and the importance of supporting local artisans. This is an ongoing project which has so far covered honey, cheese, jam, bread and charcuterie.

The Half Moon will have an extra Local Food Miles Feast menu with quality produce sourced only from within a ten mile radius. For the Friday Food Feast Barter-for-your-supper Market, locals are invited to come in and barter their produce in exchange for pub food and beverages.
