Saturday 1st October @ Buttercup Cafe

This year, on the first Saturday of the October Feast, the Buttercup we will be serving a hog roast supplied by our friendly local butcher, Peter Richards. Roasting starts at 6 in the morning to ensure a deliciously ready hog from mid-day, chewy brown ciabatta will wrap the meat. For vegetarians we will be celebrating with all things apple; savoury, sweet and of course apple inspired refreshments.

Learning from last year we will make a huge bowl of apple sauce, as it is the most delicious and popular accompaniment to all dishes. Our aim this year is to perfect the art of the toffee apple ... we have given ourselves a challenge! With the likelihood of variable weather we will be ensuring we have outside cover.
