Slow Food Taste Experience

Wednesday 5th October @ Linklater Pavilion

Have you looked at your food really closely? Does your food always smell like it tastes? Which foods go crunch and which go slurp? Can you tell the difference between sweet, salty and bitter tastes? There's excitement in the tasting, sniffing and feel of food. The Taste Adventure for children and grown-ups, which is run by Slow Food UK in partnership with grainchain.com, aims to bring these sensations to life.

Tudor Day

Sunday 2nd October @ Anne of Cleves House

An exciting opportunity to experience Tudor cuisine in an authentic atmosphere. The day will be themed on Tudor food with Tudor Minstrels playing songs about food, a chace to find out about and taste real Tudor recipes, have a go at Tudor food making tasks such as butter making and flour sifting, and meet a real Tudor housewife who can tell you all about cooking in Tudor England and where the phrase 'upper crust' comes from.
